Last night was the opening party of my husband's first solo exhibition.
We actually had expected more people coming but it became something that
would help him go forward to the future goal. Not a full satisfaction but regret, confusion, ambition, a mixture of such feelings is the ingredients for the goal.
I was supposed to put some pictures of his works but unfortunately, i don't have any of them in my camera so i'm gonna put some of his works from the last group exhibition at Gallery 7.
actually one drawing is missing and you see the photos are not well taken.
I'm not saying this because it's my husband but I'm totally in love with this series. It's based on the myth that he created, using a deer as God.
As a student of English Literature, I admit the story reached at the bottom of my heart. It seems like a moral story on the surface, but it also represents sensual, emotional, romantic but violent aspects of human beings which we are likely to ignore in this immutable world.
The present exhibition is a different series with the use of triangle and clouds. I think it would still keep growing to be what it could be but no doubt that it's surely near completion.
